Toothpick Bridge

For the last four days my dining room table has been covered with hundreds of toothpicks, glue and saran wrap. Nathan had to make a toothpick bridge for Science. It had to go over a 12" gap, and have a hot wheels car be able to go over it. He took it in today. He said that it didn't break, but it did bend just enough that it fell through the gap. He lost his ramps that he put on each end, but was pleased that it didn't break. Good engineering!
