Mini Indy

My mom brought Logan and Victoria to visit with the boys this weekend. They got here last night about 9pm. They are beginning their Spring break and the boys are almost done with theirs. We got up this morning and had breakfast and then went over to spend time at SkyWest's Mini Indy. It is an annual fund raiser for United Way of Dixie. They have formula mini cars and companies come from all over the US to participate. Most of them are someway related to the airline. This was the first time we had gone to watch.

It is held over one the Dixie College campus. Here they are making a water hazard for the cars.

Here come the cars. They are small, but expensive. A little bit of an upgrade from a go cart.


The race is just like the real one with pit stops. These are pictures of the pit crews working on the cars and the drivers changing out.


We only stayed for one of the heats. The kids were not as interested as we thought they would be. We had planned on going hiking this morning also, so we headed back to the house.
