Beaver High Adventure Camp July 12-16 Day 1

This year the boys and Chris were able to go to Beaver High Adventure Camp as their scout camp. There were only three boys able to go. Nathan, CJ and Barry Snow. The other leader was Jonathan Hummel. They met at the church at 3pm to head up to Beaver. On the way up the truck that they were driving shredded a tire. They were lucky enough to be by a truck stop to get a new tire on.

We're here...finally. We were the last group to check in.
Our campsite is at the top of this hill.
The first day is always getting signed in and your campsite set up. Hurry, hurry. Tents, check.
Kitchen, check. Cereal for dinner. By the time we were all done, it was dark.

Wildlife, check. We had a lot of deer by our campsite.

Here are the showers. Sometimes they had water, and sometimes they didn't!
