Tonight we had the opportunity as a family to go to the church farm for an orchard assingment. For one reason or another we have never been able to coordinate going as a family. Our assingment was to thin apricots. As you can see from the picture the grow in clumps close together. We were to make sure that the were 2" apart or on opposite sides of the branch.
It was a great feeling to be out in the orchard as a family. It was easy to thin, and a beautiful evening. What a blessing to be out serving the Lord.
Hopefully in a few years we will be able to do this on our own fruit trees.
