1st Annual Family Reunion/Vacation July22-July 24

We left about 11:00 this morning to drive down to Vegas. We were so excited to have a family vacation. Chris booked us a room at the Bellagio. Ann met us there about noon. Chris checked us in and I started taking pictures. I loved this window/art. It is in the lobby by the check in counters. It was beautiful. This fountain was right by the check in counters also.

As soon as we got to our room and got our bags put down Ann and Nathan had to see how close they were in height. Careful Ann, Nath is catching up fast. Chris told her part of her height advantage was her hair!
This is the view out our hotel window. Really nice. Chris picked this room because it looks out on the lake. We can see the water show and the tv plays the music that it is choreographed to.
Once we put all our stuff down it was time for exploring and lunch. We headed out to Denny's. We had to stop in the conservatory though. Everything is on a large scale. The flowers are all made out of glass. They were breathtaking. I fell in love with them. Just like the skylight above the check in desk.

Walking around the Bellagio we found this chocolate fountain in a shop. It was 112 ft. It had dark, milk and white running in it. Really cool looking. Most of it also was made of glass.

We decided that we were all starving and so we went out to find Denny's. Out in the street in front of Denny's were these characters. Only in Vegas. I don't know how that guy stood the costume. It was about 105 ouside.
