Youth Trek-Day 2

The second day they got up and ate. They began pulling towards Pine Valley from Pinto. It was about 5 miles.
At noon they stopped and took a break. They ate lunch of course. Bishop Snow had a black powder rifle that he sat up for all of the kids to shoot if they wanted.

Back on the road towards Pine Valley after lunch for 4 more miles. When they stopped for the day they left the carts. The Sullivan's brought their horses for anyone that wanted to ride. Everyone piled into vehicles and the leaders drove back to Pinto for dinner.

Tin foil dinners were the fare for the night. Peach cobbler for dessert. Yummy!!

Doug Alder came and talked to everyone about activities of the youth in the pioneer days and what their days were like.
