Park and Sit

Saturday evening, we all met in a park in Ogden. There was pizza, chicken, salads and drinks from Costco. The Tanner's had brought several things for us to look at. They had a framed list of all the missionaries that served under them. About 500!

In President Tanner's office he had cards with all of our pictures and stats on them. They had them on a big board. They were organized by zone, district and companionship. When they left the mission they copied all of them, so they could take them home. The last day before we went home that had us write a letter with our testimonies and what we had learned. They put them together in a book. Should I say 5 binders. Sister Tanner gave the sister's copies of ours yesterday. That was priceless.

This is a picture of the Tanner's and their daughter Jenny. Jenny was 16 when they came out. She stayed and finished High School in England. What an amazing experience for her. This is Sister Ana Diaz. She was my second greenie. She was from Spain. When she came out she knew very little English. Her testimony and a few phrases. We were together 4 months. By they time we seperated her English was amazing. She married one of the American missionaries that taught her. She lives in Cedar City, and is teaching school.
