I took Chris to the airport this morning at 6:00 so he could go see his mom. She is still in the hospital.
She was complaining that it was hard to swallow yesterday. They did a procedure and put a camera down her throat to see what is going on. They said that the mass is pressing on her heart and her esophagus is swollen. The pressure on her heart has given her an arrhythmia. They need to get that stabilized before they do any more testing.
They want to do a specialized ultrasound. They are at the new hospital in Norfolk, but they don't have the machine. They will have to transfer her to the older hospital to do it. Not sure when it will happen.
